The 8 peat! I think it’s pretty safe to say that the other 3 houses are sick of seeing Barron win. But they continually have large participation rates from their students and have a number of very talented/fast swimmers competing.
The day started off on a high with all of the Year 12s coming in with some amazing costumes and continued into some great competition from all students. We had a large number of students jumping in to take part in different events with Barron leading from the outset. Winning the first event of the day and never surrendering the lead from there.
It was one of the closest carnivals in history. Although Barron held the lead all day, Clancy and Kelly were both still a chance of winning going into the relays. But Barron managed to continue their stranglehold on the carnival.
Overall results were:
1st- BARRON 612
2nd- CLANCY 555
3rd- KELLY 540
4th- SYNNOTT 409
Age Champions:
13 year Male- Ashley Hutton
Female- Billie Donnan
14 year Male- Jack Kuchel
Female- Emily Ross
15 year Male- Bradley Carter
Female- Lexi Collins
16 year Male- Jayde McMurtrie
Female- Navasha Madex
17 year Male- Gabriel Tonks
Female- Ivana Donnan
18 year Male- Dylan Ryan
Female- Mekaylah Kuchel
